Software
Software published by Evolent Solutions
We build and publish desktop applications for Windows, and every one we release is signed by Evolent Solutions Ltd, so you can check it genuinely came from us.
Verify a download
How to check a download is ours
Every Windows application we publish is signed with Evolent Solutions Ltd's code-signing certificate. It takes a few seconds to confirm a download is genuine before you run it.
If Windows shows an unknown or different publisher when you run the file, do not continue: either we did not sign it, or it has been changed since we did.
Right-click the file you downloaded and choose Properties.
Open the Digital Signatures tab and select the signature.
The signer should read Evolent Solutions Ltd. If it reads anything else, or there is no signature, do not run it and let us know.

What the signature tells you
It confirms
Who published the file
Windows reads the signature and shows you the name of the publisher, so you can see the file came from Evolent Solutions Ltd and not from someone using our name.
It confirms
That nothing has changed
The signature covers the whole file. If anyone alters it after we sign it, even slightly, the signature no longer matches and Windows reports it as not valid.
It does not confirm
That it suits your computer
A signature tells you who made a program and that it arrived intact. It is not a guarantee that the program is right for your computer, so if you are unsure, ask us before you install it.

Help with our software
If one of our applications is not working as it should, or you are not sure a file is genuine, email us. Support comes from the people who built the software.
